To celebrate my DH's 60th birthday, we're off to explore a bit of his Scottish heritage, particulary in Glasgow where there have been relations on both sides of his family. He's found some decent records online like a few censuses that have given us addresses from all over the city from about the 1920s and earlier. Two neighborhoods that are mentioned are Govan and Hutchesontown. We believe that the addresses listed are no longer there, but we'd like to have a look around the areas. What should we go see, particularly that might be throwback to about 100 years ago? We'd take the subway or bus (staying at the Menzies). Thanks, see you in a week!
