Dog friendly pubs and restaurants?

HI, does anyone know of any dog friendly pubs or restaurants in Aviemore and the surrounding area? Will be travelling with our very well mannered Boston Terrier who hates to be left out!

If you do a quick hop over to the Loch Ness area (Drumnadrochit) head to the Benleva Hotel

www.visitlochness.com/listing.php…

In sure the Hotel Dogs Archie, Sommer & Murphy will welcome your terrier! (Plus provide you with a great meal and Pint...or 6!)

Hi there,

The Old Bridge Inn serves food outside at lunch time and you can drink outside allday. There is a covered terrace or if the weather is good lots of tables beside the river. They don't serve food outside at nigght though but do good cask ales etc for drinks.

Search under www.visitaviemore.com on the left of the page under Eat, Drink, Shop for pets allowed.

I hope this helps and you enjoy your holiday. There are loads of great dog walks to be found!

I've lived in Aviemore with two dogs for the last 15 years - you will probably have to make do with sitting outside if you want your dog with you. Not aware of any pubs or restaurants that will allow dogs inside. I would love to be corrected if anyone finds to the contrary though

The Cairngorm Hotel lets dogs into the foyer part but not into the bar or restaurant. There are seats and big sofas in the foyer part.
