Glencoe or ballachlish or Onich or somewhere else?!

Hi

We are visiting this area in October and don't know which to pick. We want to be able to walk to a restaurant or pub to get some food and drinks so any help appreciated!

Thanks

Glencoe has the famous Clachaig inn, which is an excellent inn,but reasonably remote--fine if you are camping as there are beautiful spots very close.Onich has plenty of hotels and many pubs etc within walking distance. Both places have fantastic views and walking on the doorstep, and are only about 5/7 miles apart.

I'd pick Glencoe--it's simply stunning---hope you have a good time.

Glencoe and Ballahulish are close together, Ballahulish also has a nice pub called The Laroch Bar and Restaurant so I would go for Glencoe or Ballahulish.

p.s. I can't think of a number of pubs in Onich that are within walking distance and a lot of Onich is next to a busy main road.
