Parking for Ben Nevis Climb

I will be visiting Oban in a couple of weeks and plan to drive from Oban, do the Climb and head back to Oban the same day. Do you think this is feasible ?

Also, which is a convenient parking place to climb the tourist route ?

definitely do-able, for parking you can either park in Glen Nevis, just past Cafe' Beag or on the other side of the river near The Ben Nevis Inn http://www.ben-nevis-inn.co.uk/

Hi djock.

If you park on the other side of the river near the cafe and SYHA hostel you have a very steep path to get to the path that's go to the top. In you are early park near the The Ben Nevis Inn. Nice gently start to the walk up, to get your joints loose for whats to come.

Good luck.

PS No climbing involved, just uphill walking and do not short cut the zig zags on the way down.
