spa or beauticians?

Is there anywhere I can get a massage or a facial when on Islay?

No need. Merely turn your face to the west (or the prevailing) wind, and enjoying a refreshing facial spa, with the cleanest air and water in the UK.

I'm sure google will reveal more expensive alternatives.....

....none were thrown up when I did a google search.

Best bet is to email tourist information and ask them:

But don't you agree Eleanor, that there are few better 'treatments' for your skin than the soft soft rain and the gentle breeze you find in the Hebrides?

"No need for expensive artificial treatments", is what I meant to say.

And googling "islay spa", brings up "Special Protection Areas", so apologies for that.
