St Andrews to Isle of Skye

We are coming to our daughters graduation from St Andrews next June and staring to plan our trip. We want to visit the Isle of Skye. My ancestors are from Oban area. Is it feasible to take in both in 3-4 days leaving st Andrews?

Will you be using public transport? Might make it less feasible.

St Andrews to Oban will take just over 3 hours to drive without stops.

From Oban drive to Mallaig and catch the ferry across to Skye. This takes a good 2 hours to get to Mallaig:

At the end of the stay leave by the Skye Bridge to Kyle of Lochalsh which will give you a nice circular route.
