Celts & Brits origins from Turkey?

I felt compelled to ask these 2 questions on this forum as is it has been discussed on another forum.

Did the Celts originally migrate from central Turkey?

Was Britain founded by 'Brute of Troy' (1st King of Britian) who was the great-grandson of Aeneas from Troy in Turkey?

Not sure how to take your post, Turk_Aussie... but I'll reply in good faith.

"Did the Celts originally migrate from central Turkey? " No, the Celts started their migration through Europe from the Austrian/Swiss region (Hallstatt culture) making their way up the Rhine, into France, Spain and eventually to Britain and Ireland. There are traces of Celtic civilisation in Turkey and all around the Mediterranean Sea.

"Was Britain founded by 'Brute of Troy' (1st King of Britian) who was the great-grandson of Aeneas from Troy in Turkey?" You're in the land of myth and legends here and the answer is No.

the first King of Britain was George 1st in 1714, there was no Britain before the act of union between Scotland and England in 1707.

I was under the impression that the modern understanding of the Celtic world, based on genetic testing, suggest the Celts were never a specific race who spread through colonisation and conquest in the manner we would associate with, say, the Romans and the Normans but arose more through a form of what we would nowadays term "cultural imperialism" where trade and other contacts led to exchanges of goods and led to a common appreciation and demand for a specific artistic and cultural style that has become known as Celtic (although none of the tribes living at the time would have used or understood this word). The origin of this culture is in modern-day Austria (near Saltzburg) but spread across Europe and also into Anatolia (now Turkey). A modern analogue might be the manner in which many countries have adopted American cultural icons like Elvis or Oprah Winfrey and incorporated them into their own cultures.
