To all impending travellers!

Forget all previous advice about layers, you could practically go around in the nip!

I should perhaps explain that "in the nip" is a Dublin expression for "naked". The heat must be getting to me!

Any other local expressions out there?

I think the Kerry expression might be "in your pelt", but I'm not sure because I never have much occasion to use it on account of all the rain

Well I sure as heck got my recommendations wrong, and I have to admit I have never been more delighted to be wrong!

Cork in the nip "in your bare-ahs " Was out in a t-shirt until 8.30 tonight and not cold. Washing the horsey tomorrow-usually it's June before I even wash his legs. Got burnt on Sunday in the space on 40 mins!

I just came back from a beautiful day out in the Burren, and it was absolutely stunning there.

Clear blue skies all day and the most amazing sunset on Fanore beach to finish it off.

I had to keep reminding myself that it was March and when I saw all the rental cars around, I was thinking how lucky they were to get such unexpected weather.

Hope you are all enjoying it as much as me:-)

Weird weather. But beautiful.

I've been sitting out in the garden for the last three afternoons sunning myself. The central heating hasn't been on since last week (we've put on an oil heater in the living room just to ease the evening chill) and the water is heating at 65C from the solar panels. Absolute bliss!!
