Trip Report: 8 days/8 nights/lifetime memories

We've been back for 3 weeks now, so I thought it's about time to put this trip report together. Many of the itinerary ideas came from research on the existing forum posts. Thanks to all for your past efforts. Enjoy!

Just been sitting at home with my breakfast of fresh fruit and yoghurt(!!) and am now yearning for a "Full Irish" after reading your excellent trip report: very entertaining and it made me smile several times!

Thanks for sharing with us - and hopefully we can help you when you plan your next trip to Ireland.

Wow.... your trip report was great! I leave in September for my 10th trip back. I am now looking forward to it as if it were first trip over. So many new things to see and do. Glad you had a great time!

Wow that is some report - very interesting.

One thing struck me though, you spent time in Dalkey but I don't think you walked along the coast which is a terrible shame as tbh - you missed a diamond, also, there are tons of great places to eat around this area.

Next time.

Thank you to all for your wonderful comments. I'll certainly call on your expertise for future visits.

@Hpurple

We would have loved to spend more time in Dalkey. In fact, I had a coastal walk in our itinerary options. But being on our 1st trip to Ireland, we dedicated a lot of time to Dublin centre. Honestly, although we enjoyed Dublin, we certainly preferred our time in the small town settings. It's tough to do it all. But that's what return trips are for, right?

Thank you, djoe & Doneraile. I learned that quality over quantity is the way to enjoy Ireland. I'll be sure to use it for my return trip itineraries.
