Electric Adapters for Ireland?

I will traveling, for the first time, through a number of Irish cities in April 2013. All the sudden I realized that I have no clear idea what type of electrical outlets are common in Ireland's hotels and B&Bs. Most likely, I will need some sort of adapter to use my camera batteries rechargers (american standard two flat prong connectors)..

I do have adapters for British and Northern European outlets, but I do not know if Ireland requires a different one.

Any help and information will be appreciated.

Ireland and the UK have the same type of plug system, Europe has a different type.

We (being Mr Bean and myself!!) have a universal adaptor which is great - you can push and pull and press buttons so that the adaptor matches the plug you have and the socket you are faced with.

Note also that we Europeans use 220v so any adopter needs to change the current as well as the layout of the pins [I think the USA has 110v]

Every electronic gadget that I took, did not need an external current converter - they have them built in now except for some cheap curling irons.

Take a small power bar though because a lot of bbs had only 2 plugs in the room. This way you can charge everything at once. If not a power bar then 2 adaptors.
