Dingle is also a working town, Tony, and to call it "totally tourist focussed" is not accurate. It serves the peninsula -as I can attest from my visit over the weekend.
Dingle is a major fishing port, and the largest administrative centre in the Gaeltacht. There is a lot more to it than just tourism, although it does know to how to look after tourists. Typical biased nonsense from Tony2phones
have stayed in both places and the prices are equal...dingle has more to offer for the tourist and as was stated tralee is more of a working environment....dingle has the best scenery for sure...IMHO.....
