is Bunratty Feast a zoo?

many years ago, as a starving student, I spent my last night in Europe at the Bunratty Feast, after which I was no longer starving. 44 years later I still have fond memories of that evening. But now instead of being a long evening on occasional days, i see that they are cranking through 2 sittings every day. Sounds like a zoo. I could not have afforded the 48 euro fare then as i can now. But I want to make sure that it is not a waste of money. Is it fun? Is there a sense of being rushed through?
