train and bus travel

I am planning to take the bus and train through Ireland in 16 days. Does this sound possible?

It depends where you want to go. Most rail lines radiate from Dublin. Bus services between major towns are more extensive, but remote rural areas are poorly served

It is possible I use the trains every day but if you have dates you should think about booking on line as it can be up to 50% cheaper than getting train tickets at the station and you can also pre book your seat.
