Smartours of Ireland

Hello! We are looking at a SmarTour of Ireland which is priced really well (including airfare) for 13 days. It covers most of the places we want to go. Has anyone heard positive or negative comments about this tour company? Ann

Found it by googling now.

I have seen a lot worse schedules, a 13 day tour starting Dublin and ending Shannon, although busy it doesnt seems manic. Depends if tours suit you or not. Cant comment on the company as I dont know anything about them.

"Magical Ireland" tour (you have to just link the smarttours part and go in from their header page if your firewalls any good, if you get in from the link you need to check your computers security)

Typical mad dash round Ireland in under 2 weeks on a coach.. for about $2400.. Thankfully someone else does the driving because exhaustion would prevent you doing it yourself..

If you are a lover of tour bus tours then it looks on a par with the usual offerings..

This was our 10th trip with Smartours. It is a good trip if you don't mind being on the bus quite a bit. The guide was informative and delightful. The hotels were average to very good. The food was surprisingly good. We saw a great deal but it was a bit rushed. It is as good as anyother bus tour and a great deal more reasonable.

We are thinking of the same tour and would also like to know more about it. We have travelled with smarTours to Thailand, Croatia, South Africa and Turkey and have been pleased with them. We have always had really good guides. I know it's a bus tour, but for the most part, you can't beat the value for the money and we have learned so much from the guides. We don't really feel like navigating the Irish roads on our own. Hoping this one is as good as the others.

Did you go on this tour? I am seriously considering this trip for the summer.

We are booked for this tour in September. We've been happy with smarTours so we are assuming this one is equally good.
