After Dingle

Because of the good advice I received a few days ago about a self drive, the trip is now being planned. After our two night stay in Dingle we will be driving north to The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren. Looking for some good suggestions on where to stay and if the sightseeing would require a two night, in the area? I would assume that The Cliffs of Moher could be viewed on our way north from Dingle, but what after that? We don't want to be rushed but is a two night stay too much? Once again, thoughts and ideas would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Here is what we did over two days in that area (we stayed Gregans Castle Hotel - near ballyvaughan)

Day 1 - morning - Burren Hillwalk with Shane Connolly - FANTASTIC, then lunch at O'Connors Pub in Doolin and a walk out to Dooling pier. O'Connors lunch was fine, staff were nice. It's just a big typical touristy pub and popular with visitors to Doolin. Then we went for a long walk on the beautiful beach at Lahinch. After that to the Burren centre in Kilfenora and were sorry we hadn't visited there BEFORE our hillwalk with Shane - d'Oh.

Day 2. Ailwee Cave, Burren Perfumery, Cliffs of Moher. Ailwee Cave is interesting, very well set up for visitors as it can be busy. Burren Perfumery is in a very interesting location, there is a nice café there.

There are other sights in the area, if you had to, you could see the highlights in one day (excluding the hillwalk) but we were glad we were there for two. It allowed us to relax and unwind.

You can buy a ticket called Burren 4, It is €18 and this saves you €17 on entry to 4 sites. You can buy the ticket at Ailwee Cave, Birds of Prey Centre, Caherconnell Fort or Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. It might be worth considering if you are going to stay there for two days/nights
