9 days , 2 or 3 locations ?, south

I've reconsidered trying to get around to a lot of places while in Ireland in October and think maybe picking two or 3 spots to stay and explore makes more sense. My daughter will be meeting me there after a busy 6 week trip in France/Germany and I'll be coming from Canada and don't mind the thoughts of a more relaxing approach to our time.

I land in Dublin Oct 12 from Canada , She arrives Oct 13 from London, We leave on Oct 22

would prefer public transportation vs renting a car. would choose train over bus if available

for accommodation prefer b&B

59 and 32 , fit and healthy

interests - history, scenery of course, pubs, meeting people

in my research I'm attracted to Wicklow, Kenmare, Kilkenny, Dingle Peninsula.

are there a logical couple of places to split our time between in that list where our days could be spent exploring the town, taking a tour to a nearby site , some country walks, and nights spent pubbing and experiencing some live music?

I appreciate any direction , and if it includes specific accommodation all the better.
