Craigslist Rental

Hi!

My boyfriend and I are traveling to Dublin, Ireland July 26th - July 31st. I was hoping to rent an apartment on vbro.com or homeaway.com but the options are limited. I looked on craigslist and found a lot of really great options, but they almost look too good to be true. I'm not an amateur traveler, but I'm getting a little desperate to find something accommodating.

Thanks,

Katie

We rented our house for our trip in August from VRBO.

Did you check the vacation rental section at the top of the page? If you book through TripAdvisor you get the benefit of their guarantee, for whatever peace of mind it's worth. I'd be weary of Craig's List for a holiday rental. AirBnB has also come under fire recently for scams and worse.

Good

Luck,

Sunny

Craigslist is the the domain of the dodgy.

Best of luck while you separate the wheat from the chaff.

We used Shamrock cottage rentals, and so far I have been please with them. They seem to be a trustworthy company. I have also used VRBO here in the United States and always been well pleased with them.

I too had a near call on craigslist, and I don't think I would trust them for this. Not to say that I am sure some of the things are on the up and up.
