Any input on itinerary would be appreciated!

We are starting our trip with 2 days in Dublin and ending with two days in Limerick for a wedding. So we are researching the best way to see the historical sights as well as taking in the natural beauty. To make the most out of our trip, we have decided to cut out a few things rather than having our itinerary jam packed. If you only had 3.5 days would you choose the Galway/Connemora/Doolin area or the Killarney/Cork/Dingle area? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Will you have a car? What kind of sites /sights. Do you mean?

Yes, we will be renting a car from Dublin. I am more intersted in pretty seaside/mountainous landscapes and quaint seaside villages with a mix of Irish history -- perhaps castles?

Six of one and half a dozen of the other there. Both areas are stunning. Both have plenty of castles, villages and history!. Toss a coin !! :-))

Yes, toss a coin! Just don't try to cram in too much. Pick either Kerry or Galway. Get a large scale map and see all that's to be seen in just one county. Each has stunning scenery, lakes, mountains, villages, islands, music. Go slow and enjoy.
