We are leaving on a Sunday morning from Sligo..trying to get to Cork by that night- Ive checked distance times- vary from 4.5hr to 6-7hrs of driving…..We plan to make this our longest day of driving- clearly- with stops along the way for lunch/pub stop/ any standout sights along the way….Not stopping too long- and trying to take the quickest route/roads-
Is this ridiculous?
AFter 2 days in Cork…heading to Dingle to drive the peninsula and take 1-2 days to do that…making our way back up to Shannon over 1-2 days- Thinking of taking the Connor pass from Camp to Tralee (good idea?) Then ferry at Tarbert across Shannon estuary to Kilrush (good idea?) Then on to Bunratty for our last night to leave early out of Shannon on last day-
This is all to be done over 5 full days….Do-able??
Thanks all for your help!
