Castle Murray house, about 10 miles out of Donegal Town has a very good reputation. To get there you take the road to Killybegs and just after you pass through the village of Dunkineely you take a left turn for St John's Point. It's not to far down that road.

Smuggler's Creek in Rossnowlagh, about 12 miles south of Donegal town. Excellent.

I think I need to stay in Donegal for a month so I can try them all! I get hungry just thinking about it!

Donegal has loads of places to eat.. depends on what type of food you like.

The indian - Shapla is really good.

European food. - The harbour restaurant.. brilliant for everything from fist to steak to pizza.

there is an Italia - Bella Donna

A new chinese. There is also a Thai restaurant in the central hotel.

All the hotels have open restaurants as well..

For something a bit differnt try Coxtown Manor just outside the town. http://www.coxtownmanor.com/restaurant.html

As suggested Castlemurray and Smugglers are also very good...
