"First class" on Intercity trains

Will be taking train from Dublin to Galway after Trans-Atlantic flight. We were thinking of purchasing "premier class" tickets on the train to perhaps make us more comfortable. The website does not seem to indicate the difference between "premier class" and standard class. Does anyone know what we'd actually be getting?

Thanks!

On the Dublin-Galway route, the seats are virtually identical, Certainly not worth paying more the EUR2 per person extra, Just book in advance if you are travelling at peak time.

The 'premier'/First class carriage is split in 2 - with the other 1/2 2nd/normal class, and these seats can be booked in advance.
