Obtaining a Chinese visa from the embassy in Dublin

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if I can get a same day Chinese visa at their embassy in Dublin?

I know the opening hours are only Monday to Thursday but it doesn't say on the site.

I doubt that you'll get a Visa in the same day, even for holidays. It will probably take at least a week.

My friend in Manchester got hers on the same day. I waited about 6 days for mine but it wasn't express.

Could you apply through Manchester then when it takes six days in Dublin?

You can get it express in 2-3 days for extra cost. I think its about 25e for the express. There used to be a one day express service but I dont think this is available any more.

That's cheap. 2 - 3 days is fine. I paid £90 for mine (British passport)

Finally some useful advice.
