airport to dublin on 5 hour layover

Is there an easy way to get into Dublin from the airport? We arrive about 8:30 a.m and take off again at 4pm? Is there storage at the airport for Luggage? Thanks

I don't know about storage but if you try the website www.dublinairport.ie or possible .com the information should be on there. You can get a bus into the city centre from the airport and I think that info should be on the website also. They are very regular unless it's a sunday when the service is cut back a bit. You have the option of Dublin Bus or some private operators. You would need to allow yourself quite a bit of time to get back to the airport by bus and get thru security.

There are left luggage facilities in the airport. These are when you come out of the arrivals door go straight across the pedestrian crossing into the multi storey car park. The left luggage is in the lobby area near the Post office and Spar shop.

With regard getting into Dublin just go back out to the front of Arrivals and there are bus stops.

Dublin Bus operate an express bus every 10minutes, this is route 747. There is also route 748 which is an express.

See www.dublinbus.ie

Aircoach is a private operator who operate an express coach service every 15minutes. See www.aircoach.ie

The Aircoach is 12euro return to the city centre.

However I would suggest you buy a 1-day rambler ticket for Dublin Bus at a cost of about 5euro. this is valid on their Airlink services which means you can get into the city and back to the Airport for only 5euro or so. You can also take other buses within the city if you choose, although this is unlikely if you only have a few hours to wander around
