Group dining Dublin

I'm organising a weekend away in Dublin for a group of about 25 ladies and was wondering if anyone could help me choose somewhere nice for food and cocktails in the evening?

O'Connell's of Donnybrook would be my first choice for a large group for dinner (not so sure about the cocktails, though, but they do have a full bar).

As Soonas says it all depends on where you are staying.

Koh is central and offers Thai food and good cocktails. http://www.koh.ie/

An idea of location/ budget/food preference and whether you want a private dining room etc would help us give better advice

We are staying in the Jurys at Christchurch, but dont mind heading more into the city. We dont really want a private area, just possibly a large table or 2 for us all. Something nice but not too overpriced at the same time!

Definitely consider Koh mentioned above, not too far a walk from your hotel, reasonable priced food, great cocktails. Another to consider is Brasserie 66 on Georges St http://www.brasseriesixty6.com/index.html# 777 is a mexican place with great cocktails, it's a bit on the small side so ring ahead to book to avoid disappointment http://www.777.ie/

The Bull and Castle to the right when you walk out of your hotel does nice pub grub and some very interesting cocktails!

I would recommend Sheries on Lr Abbey St. It's on the Luas line so you're not walking aimlessly around the city late at night. It's the oldest family run restaurant in the country (1947) & the service & price is excellent! Great main course specials around the €10-€11 mark on top of an extensive menu. Always a winner with me for pre theatre drinks & food & they cater well for groups.
