Help me choose a hotel in Dublin for NYE!!!

Ok, my husband and I will be coming to London and Dublin for the holiday season. We will be in England first and then flying to Dublin on December 30th until January 3rd. We are in the process of booking a hotel through a great package that I found. The package comes with a hotel but I have already been advised that it isn't the best choice. The following are some of our choices that we can afford. I would appreciate a ranking of maybe the top 3 or 5 choices.

My husband and I want to be as centrally located as we can. We want to be around the fun! We love going to pubs, seeing museums, architecture, music, etc.

Please help!

The following are whats available:

Best Western Sheldon Park (comes with the package)

Mespil

Dublin City Inn

Jury's Inn Custom House

Bewleys Ballsridge

Jury's Inn Parnell Street

Grafton Capital

Jury's Inn Christchurch

What do you guys recommend?

Also, someone previously had sent me a website to check out for NYE celebrations. Any addendums to that would be great! Thank you!

I've had a hard time being specific in the past so hopefully I am learning and have figured it out!

Thanks again for your help!

For me it would be all about location more than almost anything else, it's really hard getting around on NYE. So Grafton Capital, or "maybe" Jury's Christchurch.

How close would nightlife be to those?

Depends what you need for your nightlife! :)

For starters, there are probably a couple dozen pubs within a 15 minute walk of either place.

Hi, I've stayed in most of these listed. For location, The Grafton Capital is the best. Although it may not be the most modern. If you could afford its sister hotel The Trinity Capital, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Hope this helps.

The Mont clare and alexander are in our budget. They are some of the choices we are offered. Are they any better than the others I posted about before?

That being the case, I'd book the Mont Clare. Nothing wrong with the Grafton Capital though.

Come and enjoy.
