best places to visit in Ireland

we are thinking of travelling to Ireland in May or June and then going to London to visit a family member living there. We are not much the museum/castle types but would like to see beautiful scenery and perhaps take a bike tour? Any suggestions for towns/sites we should visit - will probably stay around 5 days. I think one of our companions definitely wants to go to the Guinness factory.

How about the Atlantic route and Great Western Greenway, you can fly to London from Knock airport: www.greenway.ie

are there any tour companies anyone would recommend? We will have either 6 or 8 in our group and were thinking of hiring someone to accompany us around

Would open jaw arrange a guide that could drive us around and act as tour guide for our entire stay?

Is there a reason you can't self drive?

Where are the places you want to see? there are lots of localised tours from Galway and Killarney etc which can be reached by public transport. and good local drivers from such places if you want to pay silly money.

Anywhere down the west coast is beautiful. Went on honeymoon to county Kerry 3 summers ago and loved it. The Dingle peninsula and the Ring of Kerry are definitely worth visiting, particularly Dingle. They are quite busy with tourists though.

Galway is an interesting city, quite vibrant. It all depends what you are after I suppose.
