Dublin Trip Booked...

Hi, can anyone can tell me approx cost of taxi from airport to Double Tree by Hilton, Upper Leeson St? Are there places close to the hotel we could eat nice restuarants, cafes, pubs suitable to take in teenagers?

Has anyone been on the Dublin Blarney Castle and Cork Viator tour seen lots of great reviews but would like to know where the pick up points are before we book it as its a very early start.

Thanks in advance everyone

This is a fab place and practically across the road from your hotel : http://forestavenuerestaurant.ie/

Also love Brasserie Le Pont which the Prof has mentioned and across the road from it Dax Restaurant http://www.dax.ie/restaurant/

For drinks, particularly cocktails I like http://housedublin.ie/ food is ok too but not the best you'll get in Dublin.

Your Taxi Fare should be between €23.80 and €32 see here for details

The Aircoach would drop you outside the door but given there are 4 of you, the taxi would work out the same or a little cheaper.

You're a very nice short walk into the city centre or indeed Ranelagh for lots of restaurants and pubs.

I wasn't hugely impressed with the food at the Farm restaurant when I visited last week. Overpriced as well.
