St Patricks Day in Galway

Hello,

My boyfriend and I are going to be in Galways for St. Patricks Day and and besides the parade we are curious as to what else might be going on. I'm sure every pub has something going on, but does anyone have any suggestions for a couple of 28 year olds? Thanks in advance for your help!

If the weather is nice then take a walk out along the Prom to Salthill, maybe have lunch/dinner out there and enjoy the pubs out there as the ones in the city centre will be very very busy.

Thank you. We are staying at the Salthill Hotel so maybe just take a long walk back?

Yep sounds good, have some lunch and a drink in town after the parade, it wont get awful busy until afternoon/evening.
