Which part of the city for B and B?

Part of our trip will include two nights in Galway in late June. We will have a car, but would prefer to drive as little as possible. We would love to stay in an area within walking distance of great pubs, and sites right in town. Any suggestions for which part of town to look for a B and B?

Thanks in advance!

We have vouchers as part of a vacation package so will need to stick with B and Bs. This is our first trip abroad and I tried to keep it simple. Our second trip to Ireland though, I will book independently for more flexibility in lodging.

There are only a few b&b's that accept vouchers so choose wisely. There was a recent thread on the same topic so just look back at it.
