Restaurants in County Kerry/Killarney park area

Hi all,

Hi all,

Coming to Kerry Co. for a few days, we are staying in Killarney national park but would like to explore the area (Kenmare, Killarney, etc) - was hoping for recommendations on restaurants that around the cities for lunch or dinner - kid-friendly :)

Any can't miss places? Would also be interested in live music one night, but open to anything delicious and fun.

Thanks for your help...

Macs of Main Street www.macsofmainstreet.com is a lovely, good value, good quality restaurant on Main Street in Killarney. The staff are lovely and they are very child friendly. It is frequented by as many locals as tourists, which tells you a lot!!

Are you aware that children aren't allowed in pubs after 9pm in winter and after 10pm during the summer? And that most of the music is played in pubs?

No, but my child is hopefully/usually in bed by 8 :)

Didn't know if they'd do anything earlier (like 6) in a more traditional-type establishment. Thanks for the reco!
