My expectation would be no but that public parking lots are considered safe - just remove all valuables. You can also pay to park by the train station but that is no less secure than the public lots around town. You may wish to contact Scotts directly at info@scottshotelkillarney.com Which nearby hotel are you staying at? Some have arrangements with other hotels that do have parking and so you may wish to contact your hotel too to see what they can offer.

Is it the Royal you are staying at?They use the car park on Lewis road, at Aras phadraig. As it happens ,we were down there at the weekend, one of our party had the hubcaps stolen off her car. I'd still say it would be safer than the carpark at Scotts though.

Just got an email back from Scotts and they do appear to allow non residents to use the car park for E1 per hour.
