Gap of Dunloe - Logistics Question

Please advise on our Gap of Dunloe plan:

Drive up from Moll's Gap and park at Lord Brandon's Cottage

Walk through the Gap of Dunloe to Kate's Cottage

Pick up pony cart from Kate's Cottage back to Lord Brandon's Cottage

Based on this plan is there parking at Brandon's cottage? How long would it take fit people to walk to Kate's Cottage and are there plenty of pony carts to "pick up" at Kate's for the trip back down?

Thanks for the help in advance!!

I would GUESS that they are just arriving at Kate's around 9 or 10, as most of the Tour folk begin arriving at 10-10:30.

If you START from Moll's Gap around 8, you might run afoul of the jarveys the last third of your trip, depending upon how long you spend along the way on photo stops.

They don't OWN the road -- but, it DOES provide their livelihood, so it is NOT surprising that they can be rather 'Possessive' of it!
