Killarney dinner after ring of Kerry?

We arrived last night at The Dunloe (AMAZING!!!) after a day on the dingle.

We took the recommendation of doing a down day today so spending the day at and near the hotel.

Tomorrow ring of Kerry counter clockwise.

Recommending stop near lunchtime?

Dinner- can we make it back to Killarney for dinner time? Or will we be pushing it?

Thanks!!

Yes, you should have absolutely NO problems getting back in time for dinner.

Make sure you include the following (the best bits as far as I am concerned:

Rossbeigh Beach (badly damaged by last winter's storms but still beautiful)

Valentia Island (accessible by a bridge at Portmagee)

Skellig Chocolates and St Finians Bay (we normally have a picnic in St Finian's Bay. Its gorgeous. Even if its wet or windy just sit in the car and watch the cloud formations. Skelligs Chocolate Factory 100 yards down the road have a cafe and bathroom facilities) www.skelligschocolate.com

Ballinskelligs Bay - again badly damaged by last winter's storms.

Derrynane House and Tropical Gardens www.heritageireland.ie/en/derrynanehouse/

Depending on what time you leave, you could have lunch in the Towers in Glenbeigh (lovely but probably a bit too early). You could also have something to eat in Waterville. There are a number of places there to eat.

What we usually do is pick up sandwiches and a drink in Cahersiveen (there is a nice supermarket at the far end of the town) and eat them in St Finian's Bay then head down to Skelligs Chocolate Factory for afters :o)

Enjoy!!
