4 - 5 May 2013

I am staying in Jury's Inn on the 4th May, the day before the Great Limerick Run, which I am competing it.

Two questions if someone can help me:

What would the nearest church be to Jury's Inn?

And what would you recommend for restaurants/cafe shops near Jury's Inn?

Thanks!

Jury's Inn is in Mount Kenneth. There are three churches fairly nearby:

limerickdiocese.org/uploads/…MassTimes.pdf

St Joseph's O'Connell Avenue

The Redemptorists South Circular Road.

The Augustinians, O'Connell Street.

Zoom in on this map https://maps.google.ie/maps/ms…

The South Circular Road is down as An Cuarbhothar Theas. The Redemptorists are near the end of the arrow after An Cuarbhothar Theas.

St Josephs is just above the St Joseph's Street writing, on O'Connell Avenue. You can see the outline of the church.

The Augustinians is the block outline to the left of Augustinian Lane, on O'Connell Street.

In terms of shops, Gleesons is just across the road from Jury's Inn and is a great shop.

There are a lot of restaurants in the area and it depends on what you want to eat and what your budget is. You are only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town.

The Cornstore on Thomas Street is excellent. European Style.

The Jasmine Palace on O'Connell Street is a high class Chinese. The Wokking underneath is part of the Jasmine, using the same kitchen but is more functional and less expensive. It is the only Chinese we use for takeaways.

Dominos Pizza is behind Jury's Inn but just be careful if going there. The outlet is nice but the street isn't great.

But there are lots more places if you just amble down towards the city centre.
