alternative to radisson

I was hoping to book the radisson in Sligo for 11/13 April but it seems to be booked out as the Annual GAA congress is there.

Can anyone suggest the nearest hotel to the Radisson.

Also any nice restaurants that are family friendly?

The Radisson is quite a bit out of town. Its half way between Sligo and Rosses Point. Which did you want to stay in?

The nearest hotel to the Radisson is probably the Yeats Country Hotel, which is in rosses point and the radisson is on the rosses point road other than that the clarion is not too far and is very family friendly, maybe 5 minute drive. There is The Glass House in the town which is quite new and reasonable. There are a good lot of B&B's on the rosses point road so maybe if you enquire with the hotel or with the tourist office they could give you some more information.

You could go self-catering at Sligo City Short Term Accommodation. It is a new accommodation complex of apartments and town houses about 2 minutes walk from the city center. They have just launched a website at www.sligocityshorttermaccommodation.com
