Travelodge Gatwick

Does anyone know who I can get from Gatwick Train Station to the above hotel by public transport? I understand the Hotel Hopper only runs in the Summer and not in December when I will be travelling.

Is the nearest hotel to the airport Premier Inn?

According to Travelodge's own web site, the Hoppa runs every day, except Christmas Day:

"Transport Links:

Gatwick Airport railway stn - 0.75 miles

Gatwick airport - 2 miles

Bus service Hotel Hoppa (National Express) to and from both airport terminals is £3 per person. Operates every day (except Christmas Day) between 0300-2300.

Local bus route available."

The local bus route is Metro Bus 100. Timetable and maps: www.metrobus.co.uk

The nearest stop is Manor Royal, Hawthorn Farm (Google map).

The nearest hotel is The Hilton. It's actually part of the South Terminal complex and there's a covered walkway to the hotel.

Hope that helps.

Vince i stayed there in December, tho i was driving, I do recall seeeing people waiting outside for the Hoppa.

But in anycase its only a short taxi ride to the Terminal, fare from the airpirt (becasue they all go the long way!) will be around £10-£15. If you are heading back to Gatwick by Taxi, then ask the cabby to drop you at Concorde House on the Perimeter Rd, its where the staff enter/exit the South Terminal and is a lot quicker and cheaper getting back to the terminal from there, and ok for passengers/public to use.
