Walk to Hollywood Bowl from Station?

Is it possible to walk to Hollywood Bowl from the train station? If so, how far is it roughly?

We are staying at Gatwick airport and am looking for something to do with our daughter early evening prior to our flight the next day.

Thanks

It's about 5 miles, assuming you mean Gatwick train station. There are buses which hopefully someone will be able to give you details of. You could always get the train from Gatwick to Crawley and it's about a 15 min walk or otherwise take a taxi. Next to Hollywood Bowl there's a large Cineworld and several restaurants.

Best bet would be the Metrobus route 10, which stops right by Crawley Multiplex. Fare £2.20 from the Gatwick Airport area, buses run every 15 minutes during the evening.

If you are staying in one of the hotels that is closer to route 100, get off in Crawley Town Centre then it's a 5-10 minute walk to the Multiplex.
