Three lads coming from Belfast for gig in Railway Arms on Friday 31st May;
Any good pubs in town centre to have a bite to eat and a few drinks in the afternoon?
No personal reccs as I have never been to Bolton, but to get you started, and in case you do not get any other suggestions, maybe some of the local CAMRA groups favourites would fit the bill?

Usually my "default" for pub research, happy hunting, Cheers, EW
Hi welcome to Bolton, you could try Elephant and Castle it good value with decent pub style food. You could also try the oldest pub in Bolton Man and Scythe and there is a lovely traditional pub with real ales near the train station called The Sweet Green.
I hope you enjoy your stay here in Bolton.

Jump a cab 5 mins away ask for 'fannys' best pub and food in bolton by a country mile lads
Bit late, they were there in May!
Bradshawgate in the centre is pubs from end to end. If you want posh, get a cab to the Victoria Inn in Heaton (about 3 miles from the town centre)
They were there two years ago...
