one day from Bath to the Slaughters area

hi, I am wondering if this is too rushed in one day.

Leave Bath in am, stop at Tetbury to browse.

Then drive to Bourton on the Water & 1 or 2 of the Slaughters.

We will then be staying in Cirincester for the night, so a bit of backtracking.

Which of the Slaughters if only time for one?

Dont want to be rushed & frantic.

Thanks

Not certain when you are planing to do this trip, but all of that should be easily do-able by car in a day (I will leave the others to recommend a Slaughter !)

Do both Slaughters! They're tiny in comparison to Bourton-on-the-Water (which isn't that big itself!)

The Slaughters are - 3 minutes? - apart by car - it really isn't pushing it to visit both

I would suggest you park your car in Lower Slaughter and walk to Upper Slaughter along Wardens Way. It's only a mile each way but it's a beautiful peaceful walk. And that's what the Cotswolds is all about, isn't it? Not rushing through with a car but enjoying and appreciating the country. Take a moment and a walk. It will be one of the more memorable parts of your trip.
