We are staying in Chipping Campden in September, I have heard parking can be a nightmare. Is this true? Any advice would be grateful, thanks.

We had no problem finding parking in Chipping Camden when we were there in June.

2. Re: parking

Sometimes parking is indeed a problem, but i wouldn't call it a nightmare. If the High Street is full, proceed north to Cider Mill Lane (in the direction of the St. James' church) and you may find something there.

Also, if in town when school is not in session, there are parking places available at the Chipping Campden School whose parking lot can be entered from Cider Mill Lane.

Alternatively, drive up to the church and turn right into the one-way system which leads you back to the High Street via Church Street. Often there are places available there (in front of the Eight Bells pub where you can get an excellent meal in a real 16th century hostelry).
