Train Station to Radisson Edwardian Hotel

If I get the train to Deansgate Station, is it possible to walk to the Radisson Edwardian Hotel? If so how long does it take?

Also, how would I get from this hotel to Lancashire County Cricket Ground?

Thanks

It is possible to walk. It would take about 15-20 minutes.

If your train stops at Piccadilly you could get a tram from there (Altrincham or Eccles tram) and get off at St. Peter's Square - the hotel is about 100 yards from there.

Hotel to LCC, walking = about 30-40 minutes. Or tram from St. Peter's Square (Altrincham tram) to Old Trafford stop (literally right next to the cricket ground).

Hi,

The #2 Metroshuttle bus stops at the front of Deansgate Station, that bus will take you to Deansgate, near to Peter's Street, a couple of minutes walk from your hotel.

You could also catch the #3 Metroshuttle bus from the front of Piccadilly Station, the bus stops outside your hotel.

Metroshuttle buses are free to use, they have a 10 minute frequency, the #3 runs 7 days a week and the #2 runs every day bar Sunday.

I would get the Altrincham tram from St Peter's Square to Old Trafford.

The previous posters have supplied details of the Metroshuttle. However the walk from Deansgate Station to the hotel is less than half a mile, so if you're not encumbered by luggage or wet weather it should be around 10 minutes. You can use the walkit site to show an exact route and estimated time

I put in Deansgate Railway Station & Peter Street (junction with Watson Street) and it gives estimates of 5-11 minutes.

As the previous posters have said the tram (Metrolink) stops next to the cricket ground - TV pictures sometimes show the trams passing the ground.
