Hi

The big question is who are you going to support ?

Get the wrong pub and it could be a big mistake LOL

No it really won't. In the city-centre there's only one pub that's definitely a United pub (the White Lion in Castlefield), all the rest will have a mix of both and everyone will be pretty good natured. There will be exceptions but there won't be too much trouble, certainly not during the match - maybe four hours after when all the idiots have stayed out and drunk themselves silly.

And, if ever there was an event to disprove the myth that no-one in Manchester supports United, this will be it. Wherever you go the majority will be United fans (unless you go to Bewsick or Gorton, granted...or even Stockport!).

Anyway.

Sawyers on Deansgate will have it on on a big screen. Mulligan's has football on but is pretty small and gets mega-crowded. O'Shea's will have a good atmosphere. Whatever that pub is called next to the Fantasy Bar on Deansgate is massive in the back and they have lots of screens. In fact, as it's on ITV you might be best going to a relatively small and quiet pub and getting a better view than some place with a big screen.

"Whatever that pub is called next to the Fantasy Bar on Deansgate is massive in the back and they have lots of screens." Do you mean the Hogshead?

i think everywhere will be packed as its the Khan fight as well - I used to like Walkabout for sport. Saw the Liverpool v City game at Norweigan Blue in the Printworks but that was really busy.
