Harrogate is a fair distance from Manchester. I would google " Manchester airport to Harrogate taxi" and a whole bunch of taxi firms will come up. It would be worth checking companies in Harrogate as well as those around the airport. The quick look I did suggested it is around 70 to 90 UK pounds and so for 3 people it's not much different than the cost of the train.
Arrow Cars are the airport approved company - check www.manchesterairport.co.uk for details ... I think it will be a high fare, so be prepared
Thank you, all, for your kind replies. We were able to get a taxi to transport us to Harrogate. It's interesting that the taxi for the three of us is only minimally more expensive than three train tickets! Had no idea that train travel was so dear in UK.
You're welcome glad you got sorted out - yes our train and bus fares our crazy usually cheaper to drive places - so much for greener travel eh !? Enjoy Harrogate
Can I suggest you get a price from the black cabs parked outside Manchester Airport, they are negotiable and are very reasonably priced.
Am sure you will be pleasantly surprised, I was.
Snooks, we used Blue Line Taxi Co. They were excellent. We were very pleased.
