I'll start you off with The Lass O' Gowrie in Charles Street, it's a few minutes walk from the station.

The Deaf Institute (Trof) on Grosvenor Street is round the corner from Royal Northern- not your classic 'pub' but good for a drink and nice food

there are loads of decent boozers ,not necessarily on the direct route,but we are only talking 15 mins of track,but I do give the Lass a big up..
