Terminal question

Hi

I am just about to book parking but have a few issues.

We fly out of T1 with BA and fly back intoT3 with United, it appears parking is a nightmare as APH seem to say they don't offer a service for different terminals. One option is the short stay parking, but how would we get from T3 to T1 as I would rather pick the car up at the terminal I arrive back in.

Any help appreciated

Walk? T1 and T3 are right next to one another, they even share the same long term car park.

The walk between terminals is via a futuristic-looking raised and fully covered walkway called Skylink; and part of it has moving walkways on which you can just stand. All nice and easy, even with luggage.
