Tour de France: final stage

I am going to Paris for the final stage of Tour de France. Is it possible to see the prize giving ceremony for free or it is permitted only to people with tickets?

No you can see it for free have a look at last years as the presentation is usually in the same place but you might have to get there early to get a place would suggest a fold away chair and a lunch basket.

You will be one of about a million people on the route in Paris most people are nice as you have a lot of cycling fans who help and share.

Two years ago I was with a fan club from Brest and we all minded each other spots and shared drinks and food about 300 yards from the presentation.
