Very short stay in Strasbourg- advice about hotels+ parking.

Hello - we are travelling to Chatel in France via Strasbourg, Rust (for Europapark) then through Switzerland to into France again to Chatel- a bit roundabout but we like the long way round! Anyway, we want to stay our first night in Strasbourg and wondered about hotel recommendations- we are two adults and two teenagers, with a car. I would like to be within easy access of the cathedral and Petite France to make the most of our very short time but am nervous about driving in the heart of the city- is it an easy place to navigate (with a Garmin to guide us)? Also we drove to Cologne last year but only realised about the low emission zone when it was too late so had to stay ourtside the zone. It was ok because there were fab trams etc to the centre- is Strasbourg the same? Thank you so much for any advice!

The Adagio Access Strasbourg Petite France would be ideal. It is a new aparthotel with secure parking in the courtyard or underground. It is 10 mins walk to Petite France and 20 mins to Place de la Cathedrale. It has easy access by car without driving into the historic centre. I picked a random date in the middle of June and the price for a studio is €59 and 1 bedroom for 4 is €109. We stayed there last year through Booking.com. Parking is €8 per night.

I am aware of the low emission zones in Germany but have not encountered any in France.

We stayed at Hotel Cathedral with a view onto the facade of the Cathedral. they have underground parking not far from the hotel; someone from the hotel met us and guided us there when we got close to the hotel (hotel itself is in pedestrian area)
