Ryanair - no sandwiches on flights from Dub to Biarritz

I found that there was only snack food (crisps, chocolate bars and the like) served on the Dublin to Biarritz Ryanair flights that I took on 10th June and on 15th July. Has anyone else had a similar experience on this route?

Did not think Ryanair did food at all on any flight. Even if they do I bet that it would be mega expensive for what it is.

Better to buy a 'meal deal' at Boots (if there is one) or some other place 'airside' at Dublin aiport, and take it on board with you, if you ask me!!

While I take your point, I am curious to know if it is a common occurrence on this route.

If you weren't aware that Ryanair provide this service on their flights, for which you pay, of course, you mustn't be a frequent flyer with them. The staff get commission on such sales and would seem to loose out if there's nothing to sell.

It's always been the same standard menu on all Ryanair flights I have ever taken. No idea why this was.

There is one flight a day from Dublin to Biarritz throughout the summer. It usually lands at 15:30 (local time). I have a feeling there is one day during the week when there isn't a flight, maybe Tuesdays but check with Ryanair.

The current schedule is on the Biarritz airport website:

…aeroport.fr/destination/flight-biarritz-dub…

then click on "Practical information"

I imagine the timetable for next year will be published when Ryanair has negotiated a subsidy from the local chamber of trade :-(

Interesting point about food available on Ryanair. I don't fly that route, but on the Nimes to Luton route there's always been a full menu available, although I've driven the last few times, but can't imagine a lot has changed in a few months.
