Car parking in Bergerac

We are staying over in Bergerac on a Thursday night on Rue Sainte-Catherine. Can someone tell me where the nearest public car park is situated for overnight parking and the approximate charges? Thanks.

There is car parking all over the centre of Bergerac and 90% of it is free in France. Many car parks that require payment do so only during working hours. There is very little car crime here compared to the UK.

If you get stuck then park on the old harbour, next to the river, and take the short walk to your accommodation.

There are many parking spaces all around the church in that area, so you should have no trouble getting a spot. If you are looking for secure undercover carparking, I am not sure if Bergerac has any, but someone else may know.

We parked by the harbour for a few nights, along with other visitors and locals. It seemed very safe, although we made sure not to leave anything in our English car.
