Is there a train from Tours?

I've looked at several websites non really current that say there is a train from Tours to Chenonceau. Can anyone advise if this is currently the case.

The easiest site to use is www.capitainetrain.com which sells at SNCF prices and does not try to redirect to a more expensive site.

Tickets for Chenonceaux are 6.80€ and there is no reason to go to the trouble of purchasing them in advance. None of the seats is reserved, just buy a ticket and board.

Does anybody know approximately how long would the walk be from the train station of Chenonceaux to the Chenonceau Chateau? Thank you ahead for any answers.

What WizardofAus is telling you is the truth. From the Chenonceau ticket office, you could throw a rock and hit the train. The château is clearly visible from the station. You are needlessly worrying.

The station was moved some time in the mid 90s so now it is closer to the ticket office than the far reaches of the car park are.
